Ace Jewelers is proud to announce a collaboration with Airain to introduce the Type 20 ACE with watch reference 428.440, a modern take on the classic Airain aviation watch. The Type 20 has been transformed to respect its military and aviation heritage while introducing a new bold, modern look.

The Type 20 ACE reimagines the classic aviation design, blending military heritage with a fresh, modern aesthetic. The standout silver-white dial—a first for the Airain collection—introduces a bold new look, accented with striking orange details. Inspired by international rescue equipment and the Dutch national color, these orange accents appear on the chronograph hands and the roulette-style minute counter, the latter being a completely new feature that adds a distinctive character to the Type 20 ACE. All orange elements use SuperLuminova Pantone 151C Grade X1 lume, ensuring optimal legibility in low-light conditions.

Designed with versatility in mind, the Type 20 ACE comes with two straps: a leather strap and a fabric NATO strap, giving owners the freedom to change up their look. Despite these modern updates, the Type 20 ACE remains true to the heritage of the original, preserving elements like the flyback chronograph function and classic 39.5mm stainless steel case.
